What is your primary product or service?
I help busy people achieve the travel of their dreams. I connect their passions and interests to each destination they visit so that they have a trip of a lifetime, every time. When they are connected and immersed immediately in the destination through my contacts who open hidden doors for them, they maximize their investment of both time and money.
My mission is to make the world a better place through travel; I want people to be soul-fulfilled from their experiences and I want to make sure their travel is sustainable to preserve all that makes the world a special place.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
My boutique travel consultancy is based upon my belief that well curated travel creates travelers, not tourists. I started my company because when I lived around the world I was saddened to see people being herded around in large budget tour groups or led by guidebooks. They saw iconic sights, but missed the connection to the place and its people because they never knew the hidden doors they walked right by. My expertise lies in opening those hidden doors in private travel.
I also studied sustainability and learned ways to incorporate that into the travel sector. travel CAN contribute to saving the environment, preserving cultures and economically supporting communities.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Rather than offer travel product that anyone can search for on the internet, I create custom-designed travel experiences based upon each individual's interest and passions. I have a curated Rolodex of the top partners worldwide and offer un-Google-able experiences to my clients. i can ensure that the travel you take is your contribution to making the world a better place in ways you would like to make a difference.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
I maintain one location so that I can provide a personalized boutique service to individuals, families in private travel and for companies in incentive travel.
